Dark 26/27 Away Shirts: Chelsea vs Manchester City

Looking for a dark soccer jersey for the 2026/27 club season, or a dark away football shirt in the UK? Two current listings at THJORE fit that visual brief: the Chelsea 26/27 Away Kit and the Manchester City 26/27 Away Kit. Both have a dark base and bright contrasting details in their main photos. They are separate club products, though, with different collar, sleeve and front treatments. This guide is about what their own galleries show, not a review of materials or a claim about their source.

Chelsea: vivid yellow around the edges

The Chelsea listing's main photo draws your eye to patterned yellow-coloured accents around the collar and sleeve edges. Yellow-coloured marks also appear on the front of the dark shirt. If your choice turns on a busy edge treatment, zoom in on those areas in the Chelsea product gallery. Check the other images as well: the small image in a search result will not show every detail.

Manchester City: gold-coloured trim and a quieter dark pattern

The Manchester City away listing shows a gold-coloured ring at the collar and sleeve edges, gold-coloured front graphics, and a subtler dark motif across the shirt. In the main image, its accent colour reads differently from Chelsea's brighter yellow. View the full gallery on your own screen before deciding how those colours look to you. Lighting and display settings can affect any on-screen comparison.

Which page should you open first?

Club preference comes first: these are different teams. If you are browsing chiefly by appearance, start with Chelsea for the more conspicuous patterned edge in the displayed photo, or Manchester City for the gold-coloured collar ring and tonal front pattern. Keep both exact product pages open as you compare the front, collar and sleeves; do not treat a photo of one as a specification for the other.

Both pages currently show S, M, L, XL and 2XL in the size selector. Matching letters do not guarantee the same measurements or fit. Consult each page's size guide and check any name or number choices on the exact item before checkout. The word kit also does not by itself establish whether other pieces are included. Read the selected variant and checkout contents, and review the shipping and return pages for your destination.

These two shirts are part of our wider new-season football shirts and soccer jerseys range. If neither dark design matches what you want, compare other colours there instead of choosing by a keyword alone.
